Celtic Crusaders cruised to an eighth successive win over London Skolars on Saturday, thanks to a fine second-half performance at the Brewery Field.

Skolars arrived in Wales following a successful month of June, but were no match once Crusaders hit their stride.

Man of the match Paul Ballard, who passed a late fitness test, went over in the corner on four minutes for the first of his four Crusaders tries.

The Welsh side added six other tries as Skolars were swept away in Bridgend.

Crusaders are now up to third in the NL2 table, two points behind leaders Featherstone.
