Wakefield: (2) 30 Tries: Jeffries, Blaymire 2, White, Watene Goals: March 5 Hull KR: (9) 15 Tries: Dyer, Ford, Hardman Goals: Cooke Drop goals: Cooke Wakefield ran in three tries in the 10 minutes after the break as they fought back from a 9-2 half-time deficit to beat 12-man Hull KR. Tries from Luke Dyer and Bryan Ford put Rovers 8-0 up before they had Makali Aizue sent off for a high tackle. Tries from Ben Jeffries, Matt Blaymire and Paul White put the hosts in front. Ian Hardman's converted try saw Rovers cut the gap to just three points but late tries from Blaymire and Adam Watene saw the hosts home. Wakefield boss John Kear: "It was a big win for us. I thought we played really well in the second half. "At half-time we addressed some issues and the players played with more composure in the second half and that won it for us. "The sending off was bound to be crucial. If you knock somebody's head off you tend to spend the rest of the time sitting on the sidelines." Rovers boss Justin Morgan: "We didn't show enough grit and determination defensively in the second half, but all credit to Wakefield. "They came out in the second half pumped and they scored some good tries and put us under some pressure. "It's difficult when you've got 12 men, but no issues from me. You take the cards the way they're dealt."
