Huddersfield's misery continued as they suffered their seventh straight Super League defeat with a narrow loss to second-bottom side Salford on Sunday.
In a tight first half, Luke Robinson crossed twice, with John Wilshere adding the extras, and Mat Gardner and Chris Thorman responded for the Giants.
Jordan Turner extended the Salford advantage with a try after the break.
Andy Raleigh's try, converted by Thorman, cut the gap to two but Salford hung on for the win.
Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp "We are doing a lot of good things but not enough good things to win games and that's what is frustrating.
"We've got a team who are rolling their sleeves up and having a dig. We're creating some opportunities but we're just not taking those chances and that puts pressure on you.
"Because we haven't won a game, the boys are pretty anxious, particularly near the tryline. When we get chances we are apprehensive."
Salford coach Karl Harrison "Sheer guts and determination got us there in the end because Huddersfield
threw a lot at us and we were hanging on.
"There has been a lack of confidence in the camp and we were not very fluent
today but things are starting to change.
"Hopefully, we can go on a run now. We will certainly build on this
performance."
