| Friday, 20 September, 2002, 13:20 GMT 14:20 UK Whitehaven turn to McCormack Whitehaven have named former Salford coach Steve McCormack as successor to Paul Cullen.
The 29-year-old became the youngest coach in coach Super League when he was appointed last year but his reign was cut short after a disastrous start to the current season. He takes over from Cullen, who left the Northern Ford Premiership outfit to move to Super League strugglers Warrington last month.
