Torquay skier Jai Geyer put in his best performance of the season on Tuesday to finish third in the Belgian National Championships Giant Slalom event. Geyer, 20, had a combined time of 2:10.90 over two runs, with second-placed Martin Stricker coming home in a time of 2:10.76. The race was won by Italian 17-year-old Stefano Baruffaldi in 2:09.53. The result gave Geyer his best ever score in a Federation of International Skiing race of 37.99.
