Britain's 2010 Winter Olympians must not be overlooked in the build-up to the London 2012, says British Olympic Association boss Simon Clegg. The BOA chief executive said: "It is important with all the focus on London 2012, we do not neglect the needs of our winter athletes.
"They must be provided with the best possible support to enable them to reach their Olympic aspirations."
Clegg recently completed a fact-finding trip to 2010 Olympic host Vancouver.
He said: "There is no doubt it will stage a stunning Olympic Games - the setting is spectacular and the venues are inspirational.
"The quality of the people we met and the information available in Canada lead me to believe Vancouver has the potential to set new standards for the Winter Games."
BOA representatives have also visited Calgary, host city of the 1988 Winter Olympics, to explore pre-Games preparation camp opportunities for Team GB.
