Rhona Martin's team need to win both remaining matches |
Britain's women curlers lost 8-4 to Norway to damage their hopes of reaching the semi-finals. The defending champions, who earlier beat Italy 9-5, were two points down going into the ninth end.
Skip Rhona Martin missed a pressure shot to get back on terms, and the Norwegians picked up two to hand Britain their third loss in Turin.
They must win both their remaining matches against Japan and the US to guarantee a chance of qualifying.
The all-Scotland team share fourth place in the standings with Canada, who suffered a surprise 5-2 defeat to Japan in the morning, as they look to make it to Tuesday's tie-breaker for a semi-final place.

Martin shot a perfect double takeout in the ninth end to take the score to 8-5 and effectively seal the match.
