Spain's Maria Jose Rienda Contreras and Sweden's Anja Paerson tied for first place in a World Cup giant slalom in Ofterschwang, Germany, on Saturday. Rienda Contreras claimed her second giant slalom win in 24 hours after beating Paerson on Friday.
The pair clocked two minutes 22.18 seconds after Rienda Contreras had led by 0.18 secs on the first leg.
Julia Mancuso of the United States took third in 2:22.27 but overall World Cup leader Janica Kostelic struggled.
The Croatian was suffering from a fever and managed 41st in the first leg before failing to qualify for the second leg.
Kostelic, who slipped to third in the World Cup giant slalom standings, will defend three Olympic titles in Turin.
Rienda Contreras' fifth career win also made her the first woman to win three giant slaloms this season.
The Winter Olympics begin in Turin, Italy, on 10 February.
