Dillon takes third in Madrid race
Michelle Dillon
Dillon was way back after the swim but finished fast on the run
Britain's Michelle Dillon took her second Triathlon World Cup podium of 2007 with third place in Madrid.

She was nearly two minutes down after the swim but, helped by debutant Rosie Clarke, caught up on the bike section.

She was then just outsprinted in the final 100m to finish third, while Clarke, sister of world under-23 champion Will, finished a fine 15th.

Britain's world champion Tim Don came sixth, Stuart Hayes 10th and Richard Stannard 24th in the men's race

But Will Clarke crashed out on the bike while at the front of the main pack.

Britain's other female competitor, Vanessa Raw, pulled out on the run after the first lap when in sixth position.
