Jordon Wykes will be the youngest player at the camp

Jersey's young table tennis star Jordan Wykes has been invited to the prestigious Butterfly European training camp in Barcelona this month.

The 11-year-old will join other top senior and junior players from all over the continent.

"This invitation for Jordan is a fantastic achievement," said Jersey Table Tennis Association's Chris Band.

"It reflects how much Butterfly think of his potential and how effective the development programme here is."

The training will also act as a warm up for Wykes' next Junior Open tournament in January when he travels to Grantham in Lincolnshire.
