Speller wins fourth swimming gold

Speller has won seven medals so far including four gold and three silver

Jersey's Katie Speller has won her fourth gold medal of the 2009 Island Games in Aland.

The medal came in the women's 100m individual medley where she beat Poula Ossursdottir Mohr of the Faroe Islands into second place by 2.34 seconds.

Speller has now equalled team-mate Ian Black's 2009 gold tally.

Elsewhere in the pool Jersey's John Gallichan beat Jonathon Le Noury of Guernsey to silver by 3.32 seconds giving the 17-year-old his third medal.

Jersey swimmers have won 26 medals so far at the 2009 Island Games in Aland including nine golds.
