Despatie wins second diving gold

Despatie also won the three-metre springboard in Montreal
Alexandre Despatie claimed his second and Canada's third diving gold medal at the 11th World Swimming Championships.

Despatie won the men's one-metre springboard title in Montreal, with China's Xu Xiang taking silver and his compatriot Wang Feng bronze.

Despatie, who also won gold in the three-metre springboard on Tuesday, finished with 489.69 points with one of his dives earning three 10s.

Meanwhile, Virginie Dedieu of France won the synchronised solo gold medal.
