Lauren Selby has won her first ever Women's International Squash Players Association tour title by claiming the Finnish Open. The 26-year-old, from Sawbridgeworth, defeated fellow Brit Deon Saffery 11-8, 10-12, 11-7, 11-8 in Mikkeli to claim the $6,800 (£4,300) prize. The result follows April's runner-up finish at the NCS Series in Malaysia. The success should improve her current world ranking of 67, with the revised list released in November. Selby is the sister of current men's world number 10 Daryl, who reached the quarter-finals of the singles and men's doubles at the Commonwealth Games earlier this month.
