Willstrop receives rankings boost
James Willstrop
James Willstrop has become the highest-ranked Englishman for the first time after moving up to second in the men's world squash rankings.

The 22-year-old has had an impressive year, winning the Qatar Classic and reaching the British Open final.

Willstrop has moved ahead of Lee Beachill, who remains at five, and Peter Nicol, who slips to eight.

Thierry Lincou completes a full year at the top of the rankings by retaining his number one position.

Australia's Anthony Ricketts stays in third, Scotland's John White remains in ninth while Alex Gough of Wales moves to 17, returning to the top 20 for the first time in two years.
