Northern Irish interest in the Welsh Open ended on Wednesday with Gerard Greene's defeat to Graeme Dott. The Kent-based player was beaten 5-3 in the second round by the world champion from Scotland at The Newport Centre.
Joe Swail and Mark Allen made their exits on Tuesday.
Belfast star Swail lost 5-3 in the second round to Ken Doherty while Allen from Antrim was defeated 5-4 by Ian McCullough in the first round.
Allen led 4-2 before losing the last three frames to the Preston player.
