Swail qualifies for China Open |  Joe Swail will play Dubai based former world champion Peter Ebdon |
Joe Swail is through to the final stages of the China Open in Beijing after a 5-0 win over Jamie Burnett in the final qualifying round on Friday. Swail will meet Peter Ebdon in the first round of the tournament in China. Kent based Northern Ireland player Gerard Greene lost 5-2 to Mark King in his final qualifier while Mark Allen was beaten 5-4 by Andy Hicks. The defeat means Antrim man Allen misses out on a first round match against Ronnie O'Sullivan.
