Richardson will play for Redruth's Storm Netball Club next season

Cornish student Lottie Richardson has been called up to the England U-17s netball squad for a second year after a successful trial in Sheffield.

The 15-year-old from Falmouth, underwent a week of intensive training following her selection.

She said: "I am extremely pleased to have got in again and will be looking forward to another busy year."

Richardson has also announced she will play for Redruth-based Storm Netball Club in the Cornish league next season.

Head coach David White said: "We're looking forward to Lottie coming to train and play with us.

"She will also be helping coach our junior section and I'm sure our youngsters will get a great benefit from working with her."
