Team Bath's Geva Mentor played well as goalkeeper |
Team Bath extended their winning run in the Superleague to 11 victories from 11 games after a comfortable 70-23 success over the Celtic Dragons. Friday's victory over the Welsh outfit has taken them four points clear of Loughborough Lightning at the top of the table. "I think that was the first time that we've played well against Celtic Dragons," said Bath coach Jess Garland. "They know us so well and historically they have made us work so hard." Team Bath's Sara Bayman added: "It was pleasing because we kept up the pace in all four quarters." The league leaders return to action at the end of the month when they travel to Northern Thunder. The result leaves Celtic Dragons struggling just one place off the bottom of the Superleague table.
