Teenager Jo Harten scored in the last minute to send Mavericks through to Superleague's Grand Final with a 40-39 victory over Loughborough Lightning. The 17-year-old held her nerve to secure her side's win in an end-to-end Minor Final play-off match in Hatfield.
Mavericks will face unbeaten champions TeamBath in Guildford on Saturday.
TeamBath, who ended the regular season with a 100% record, beat Mavericks in a play-off match the previous weekend to book their place in the final.
They will be seeking to repeat last year's success where they beat Mavericks to lift the title.
