Cardiff Devils remain in the Elite League title race after a comprehensive win in Hull on Saturday.

Max Birbraer scored a hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Ryan Finnerty, Sam Smith, Scott Matzka and Jon Pelle in a dominant display.

The Devils stay in third place, level on points with second-placed Sheffield Steelers and a point behind Belfast.

The Welsh side host Nottingham on Sunday before the regular season ends with against Coventry and Edinburgh.

The Steelers will be expected to regain top spot on Sunday when they face Newcastle at the Whitley Bay Ice Rink.
