Manchester Phoenix stayed top of the Premier League thanks to Sunday's 6-4 victory over Peterborough Phantoms.

After losing 6-3 at MK Lightning on Saturday night, Phoenix hit back, to move five points clear of second-placed Guildford, who lost both weekend games.

"Every time we play, we don't always get to the finish line but we never quit," said player-coach Tony Hand.

"We were a little bit apprehensive because the guys are aware that every two points is huge."
