Josh Prudden fires past Scott Reid for Belfast's fourth goal against Edinburgh

Craig Peacock netted twice as the Belfast Giants hammered their Scottish visitors at the Odyssey Arena.

Simon Lambert and Brett Hemingway put the Elite League leaders 2-0 ahead only for Chris St Jacques and Adam Taylor to bring the Capitals level.

Peacock restored Belfast's lead and Jeff Hutchins equalised before the Giants surged clear.

Goals from Josh Prudden, Peacock, Colin Shields, Dan Welch and Jeff Mason secured a comfortable victory.

Belfast's league game against Nottingham Panthers in England on Sunday has been postponed due to the poor weather.
