Mitchell joined Hull after spells at Edinburgh Capitals and Fife Flyers

Hull Stingrays will have defenceman Craig Mitchell back for the Elite League meetings with Sheffield Steelers and Nottingham Panthers this weekend.

The 19-year-old Scot suffered a broken arm in the 6-2 defeat to Braehead back in October.

Player-coach Sylvain Cloutier told BBC Radio Humberside; "He's the type of guy that will put his body on the line and do anything for the team.

"He's going to be fresh, hungry and it'll be nice to have him back."
