Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough welcomes player returns
Togwell (l) and Thompson were on the bench against Coventry
Scunthorpe boss Ian Baraclough hopes to have midfielder Sam Togwell and forward Garry Thompson available to start at Millwall this weekend.
Togwell (knee) and Thompson (groin & hernia) were on the bench for Saturday's home defeat to Coventry.
Iron boss Ian Baraclough told BBC Radio Humberside: "It's great to have Sam back and I hope his knee will stand up to the rigours of the next few months.
"I'm also pleased Garry's coming back and he'll get more sharpness."
The Iron have a string of injury problems, with defenders David Mirfin, Niall Canavan and Michael Raynes all out along with midfielder Michael Collins.
Meanwhile, keeper Josh Lillis has returned from loan club Rochdale to have treatment on a hamstring injury that is set to keep him on the sidelines for 2 to 3 weeks.
Lillis' current loan with the League One club expires in January.
