Pearson has seen his side's form improve in recent games

Hull City captain Ian Ashbee (Achilles) and defender Daniel Ayala (hamstring) have a chance of returning from injury at Crystal Palace this weekend.

Boss Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Humberside: "When you're looking to do a stage of rehabilitation on grass last week's weather makes it more difficult.

"But we'll be looking to bring the players on this week."

Jimmy Bullard is another casualty of the weather and needs to get back onto grass, according to Pearson.

Meanwhile, strikers Craig Fagan and Caleb Folan will not be ready for the trip to Selhurst Park.
