 Ryan had a three-point game in Sunday's 7-4 win over Coventry |
Nottingham Panthers forward Billy Ryan believes their fine start to the season is at least partly down to how well the new-look side have bonded. Panthers started in blistering form, beating last season's top two - Belfast and Coventry - on opening weekend. Ryan is one of nine new players on the roster this season, with six of those playing in England for the first time. "The guys get along great together and that's a big part of a successful team," Ryan told BBC Radio Nottingham. "Everyone has started gelling straight away. It's been a very pleasing experience so far."
