Four points from their two weekend fixtures has left Coventry Blaze five points clear at the top of the Elite League table. Saturday's 4-3 overtime win at Edinburgh was followed by a 5-3 victory against Nottingham on Sunday. Blaze goals in Sunday's win came from Greg Chambers Greg Owen, Danny Stewart, Brad Cruikshank and Russ Cowley - his 100th for Coventry. Blaze are five clear of both Nottingham and Belfast, with two games in hand on the Panthers and one on the Giants. Coventry go to Belfast next Saturday, and host Sheffield on Sunday.
