Richardson has scored six goals for the Panthers this season
Nottingham Panthers assistant-coach Bruce Richardson has urged his players to keep playing with emotion.
Panthers are top of the Elite League table having won two of their last three matches having suffered a slight slump in form.
They face league matches at Hull on Saturday and Cardiff on Sunday.
Richardson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We have two tough games and if the guys play with emotion and passion there won't be a problem."
Panthers are in the middle of a five-game spell away from the National Ice Centre, having lost to Newcastle and beaten Edinburgh.
The side travel to Belfast on Friday, 20 November, before returning home the following night to face the same opposition.
Richardson said: "Championships don't come easily, you might have to take a big hit or make a good play.
"We have a mature group of players here. It is not going to be easy and sometimes to win some games you need to show emotion.
He added: "That's how I have made a living out of hockey, by playing on emotion. You have got to have some talent, but hard work will beat talent any night."
