Steve Thornton is adding new faces to his Giants squad

Towering defender Tim Cook and forward Brandon Benedict, who both played in Denmark last season, have become the latest signings by the Belfast Giants.

Cook and Benedict both played for Totemp HVIK last term before the team withdrew from the league because of financial constraints.

Both players are expected to be impact players, albeit at different ends of the rink, for Steve Thornton's Giants.

The Giants will begin their new season in September.
