Newcastle Vipers forwards Dean Holland and Ben Campbell have both agreed to remain with the club for the 2009/10 Elite League season.

Campbell, 21, and Holland, 20, have both become regulars in the Vipers side over the past three seasons.

"Both Dean and Ben have developed into excellent young forwards over the last few seasons," coach Rob Wilson told the club's website.

"They've got great determination and drive that is key to our style."

Meanwhile Wilson has also confirmed that defenceman Jez Lundin is to leave Newcastle for an as-yet unnamed European Premier League side.

Lundin, a Great Britain international, has been with the Vipers for since 2006 and Wilson admitted he could not stand in the way of such a move.

"I can wholeheartedly understand Jez's decision to take up what is a good offer for him in the EPL," said Wilson.

"I am frustrated in losing such a player, especially one who ticks all the boxes when it comes to what our team is going to be about next season.

"He is a talented young defenceman and a year in the EPL will be good for him. I look forward to seeing him in a Vipers jersey once again in the future."
