Martin Cingel bagged a hat-trick as Edinburgh Capitals handed Cardiff Devils a heavy loss on Sunday in the last tie of their three-game road trip.

Devils also lost first choice net-minder Peter Aubry after the first period with the Devils trailing 3-1 and was replaced by backup Joe Myers.

Mark Hurtubise, Adam Stefishen, Sean Perkins and Doug Christiansen also scored for the hometown Capitals.

Ben Davies, Jay Latulippe, Mike Prpich and Tyson Teplitsky replied for Devils.
