Talbot leads the Steelers in scoring with 25 goals this season
Sheffield Steelers forward Joey Talbot has told BBC Radio Sheffield that a win in Belfast would be a massive step towards winning the league title.
The Steelers lead the Giants by eight points in the table, but the Northern Irish side have two games in hand.
"They are right on our coat tails and we have to play them a couple more times this year," said Talbot.
"We have to steal points on the road and that is the thing going in there, we are preparing to win."
The 28-year-old leads the team in scoring with 25 goals this season and is closing in on last year's total of 39.
"Even if I get a little less then that it would be okay as long as we are winning," he said.
"I scored 39 last year and we came second, but if I scored 30 this season and we finished first then I would be happy.
"At the start of the year you go in thinking that you want to win a championship and if you get 20 goals then you know you have been a part of it and for me it's all about being part of a winning team.
"Just to have the coach come down to the bench and say 'you are up we need a goal' is great, I really enjoy that pressure."
