Steve Thornton's Giants beat Manchester 8-2 in the league

The Belfast Giants will hope to make up ground on Elite League leaders Sheffield Steelers when the sides meet at the Odyssey on Wednesday night.

Belfast lie fourth in the league, eight points adrift of Sheffield with two fixtures in hand.

Steve Thornton's team kept their league challenge alive with an 8-2 win over Manchester Phoenix on Sunday evening.

After Wednesday night's game, the Giants move on to a weekend double-header against Basingstoke Bison.
