Jets player-coach Moria has sealed the deal for former Bee Line |
Slough Jets have added British forward Jamie Line to their squad. Line, who turns 19 on 23 January, recently announced his intention to leave Bracknell, where he had been a player since 2005. "Jamie will give us a lot of energy as he turns up to play hard every game," said Slough player-coach Steve Moria. "He reads the game well and I am looking forward to working with him, as are his new team-mates who have nothing but good things to say about him." Line had scored four goals and registered six assists in this season's Premier League before leaving Bracknell, ending his stint at the Bees with a goal in their 7-3 defeat by Peterborough on Sunday. "I enjoyed my time with Bracknell and would like to thank the Bees organisation and their supporters, but I felt it was time to make a change," he said. "I am extremely pleased and excited to be joining the Jets. I hope that my game can develop and that I can make a positive contribution to the team." Slough are currently third in the Premier League, behind Guildford Flames and Peterborough Phantoms, while Bracknell are fifth. Line is expected to make his Jets debut for Saturday's visit of Telford Tigers in the league.
