Derek Campbell returned to score twice for the Cardiff Devils as they beat his former club Basingstoke Bison, who remain bottom of the Elite League. Wes Jarvis opened the scoring for the hosts with an unassisted goal before Campbell converted Phil Hill's pass. Greg Chambers reduced the deficit until Hill made it 3-1 at 55:10. But Bison then pulled their net-minder Kevin Reiter, who had saved his side from a drubbing, and it backfired as Campbell slotted into an empty net.
