Canadian Danny Stewart is in his third season with Coventry Blaze

Coventry Blaze assistant captain Danny Stewart hopes Blaze can avenge their 5-1 defeat to Steelers when they travel to Sheffield on Saturday (1900 GMT).

Coventry suffered the heavy loss back in September but have since climbed to the top of the Elite League and are now six points clear of Steelers.

Stewart told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "There's a bit of a rivalry now with Sheffield.

"We've had a long time to think about that game and want to make our mark."

Blaze, who have won their last nine league fixtures, entertain Basingstoke Bison the following day (16 November, 1800 GMT).
