Carlyle Lewis has scored 10 times for Blaze this season

Coventry Blaze moved six points clear at the top of the Elite League thanks to a 6-1 victory over Hull Stingrays at the Skydome on Wednesday.

Carlyle Lewis scored a hat-trick for the current champions.

Lewis gave Blaze a two-goal lead in the opening period and added a third in the second phase after Russ Cowley and Sylvain Deschatelets had netted.

Dan Carlson completed the scoring for Coventry before Konstantin Kalmikov grabbed a late consolation.
