Nottingham Panthers suffered a 5-2 defeat in their international challenge match with Geneva on Sunday. The Swiss A League outfit were 5-0 up at the National Ice Centre before Robert Lachowicz pulled a goal back for the Panthers in the 56th minute. Mark Levers also put his name on the scoresheet for the home side but they could not stop the strong Swiss side. "It was a great experience for our younger and older players alike," coach Corey Neilson told the club website. "The fans seemed to like what they saw, there were four recent NHL players in the line-up and some of their other players would grace many top leagues in Europe."
