John Wheaton scored for Swindon on Saturday and Sunday

Swindon Wildcats' four-game unbeaten run came to an end as they lost twice in the space of 24 hours.

Peter Russell's side went down 5-2 against Peterborough at the Link Centre on Saturday night, with John Wheaton and Ciaran Long on target for Swindon.

The following evening, they lost 4-2 at Milton Keynes Lightning with Wheaton and Jamie Hayes finding the net.

The Wildcats return to Premier League action at home to high-flying Guildford on Saturday, 8 November.
