Telford Tigers finished their pre-season friendly campaign with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Elite League champions Coventry Blaze.

New signings James Knight and Jason Cassells scored their first goals for the Tigers in the challenge match.

Goalie Davey Lawrence picked up the man of the match award as the Shropshire side prepared for their opening games against Slough and Swindon Wildcats.

Money raised from the match was donated to Telford Tigers to boost club funds.
