Swindon Wildcats forward Matty Davies is confident his young team will not be overawed in the English Premier League.

The Wildcats already had one of the youngest rosters last season.

The majority of the squad have returned. And Great Britain Under-20 international Davies told BBC Radio Swindon that age can be misleading.

"Everyone is saying we have a young team," But I've been in the league for three years now. We might be young but we've got plenty of experience."

The Wildcats face Peterborough in home and away warm-up fixtures starting on Wednesday night at the Link Centre, before the new league season starts on Saturday at home to Sheffield.
