Nottingham Panthers forward David Clarke has hailed the special bond in the club's dressing room.

The team have only been together just over two weeks, but began the season with back-to-back victories over Newcastle and Hull.

Clarke told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We've formed such a great bond throughout the team and that's shown in the last two matches."

Panthers won 3-2 in Newcastle before returning home to thrash Hull 6-2.

And Clarke added: "Against Newcastle and Hull you are going get hit and slashed but it's just a case of getting the job done."

This weekend the Panthers host Edinburgh on Saturday (1900 BST), before travelling to Manchester on Sunday.
