Nottingham Panthers player-coach Corey Neilson says he is thrilled with his players' efforts after their winning start to the new Elite League season. Panthers won 3-2 in Newcastle on Saturday night, before thrashing Hull Stingrays 6-2 at the National Ice Centre on Sunday. Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's a perfect start. "The guys played incredibly hard for themselves, Nottingham, the fans and I'm just proud." The 32-year-old coach said he could not fault the commitment of his squad. "We're putting together a quality product with quality people who want to work hard for each other and the jersey," he said.
