Nottingham Panthers have claimed victory in their final pre-season match by beating Peterborough Phantoms 5-0.

Marc Levers, Bruce Richardson, Matthew Myers, David Clarke and Brendan Cook all found the net for the Panthers.

And captain Danny Meyers told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It was pretty solid seeing as we were four guys down.

"Once again our youngsters came through, I thought Tom Norton was the pick of the bunch but every single guy really pulled there weight today."

Panthers face Newcastle Vipers away in their first match of the season on Saturday.
