Wilson can see similarities between the current side and the 2006 winning team |
Newcastle Vipers coach Rob Wilson is backing his players to outmuscle Coventry on their way to winning the Elite League Final Four play-offs. "We want to impose our physical presence on them, I think that could be a factor," he told BBC Radio Newcastle. "Play-offs are always more physical and guys might do more than they would in a regular season game. "We're raring to go. Coventry are the most explosive team in the league but that doesn't mean everything." Wilson was also in bullish mood regarding the second semi-final between Cardiff and Sheffield, which takes place following the Vipers game. "When we win, I'll be concentrating on that and watching who we're going to play," he said. "It's all eyes on Coventry right now and we'll worry about Sheffield or Cardiff at five o'clock on Saturday."
