Peter Campbell is the top Giants scorer this season

The Belfast Giants have it all to do after losing the first leg of their Elite League play-off against the Vipers in Dundalk on Saturday night.

Newcastle raced into a 4-0 lead through Mark Gouett, Ben Storey, Shaun Johnson and Colin Shields goals.

Peter Campbell and Shaun Sutter reduced the deficit but Hutchins scored again before Campbell completed his brace to keep Belfast in the tie.

The second leg takes place in Newcastle on Sunday.
