Strachan's side missed out on the play-offs for the second season |
Hull Stingrays coach Rick Strachan has revealed that he offered just three players new contracts for next season. The Rays finished bottom of the Elite League prompting Strachan to plan big changes for their next campaign.
"There will definitely be some changes, there are some guys who you can count on and they are the guys who played consistently for the whole season.
"It's not my style to say who we have offered contracts to but there are three guys and we'll see what happens."
Strachan told BBC Radio Humberside: "I look at guys over the season and see who can play under adversity and some guys did and some guys didn't."
The Rays failed to make the end of season play-offs for the second season running despite a 6-2 win over Manchester Phoenix at Hull Arena on the final day of the season.
