The Coventry Blaze head coach Paul Thompson has praised the endeavour of his players after they clinched the Elite League title on Sunday. "You don't fluke three championships in four years," Thompson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
"It comes from hard work, preparation and good players.
"They want to win as much as I do. They want to win for the fans and their families. They're a great bunch of guys," he added.
Blaze were crowned champions for a second successive year following their 4-2 victory over Belfast Giants.
