Nottingham Panthers lifted the Challenge Cup after completing a 9-7 aggregate win over Sheffield Steelers. The Panthers, who led 6-3 after the first leg, triumphed despite losing 4-3 at home in the second leg on Wednesday.
Dan Tessier and Doug Sheppard put the Steelers 2-0 up before Johan Molin and Patrik Wallenberg levelled.
Joe Talbot and Jeff Legue restored Sheffield's two-goal cushion on the night but Ryan Shmyr scored for the Panthers to seal their overall victory.
