Nottingham Panthers coach Mike Ellis has been impressed with the way his side have gelled following the signings of Eric Nelson and Jon Coleman. The defencemen joined last week and made their debuts last weekend as Panthers lost in Sheffield but followed that up with a win in Cardiff.
Ellis told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's a little bit of a rocking the boat situation but the guys handled it well.
"By the end of the game on Sunday I saw huge strides for the whole team."
Edinburgh visit the National Ice Centre on Saturday, before the Panthers face Newcastle on the road the next day.
Ellis added: "The games ahead are going to be exciting. The team is gelling together and getting better and better every game."
